CMI Presents A Day of Fun at Saluda Shoals Park
Come enjoy a day of outdoor fun and fellowship for the whole family. Saturday, April 17th The park is open 7AM- 5:30 PM, so you can spend the entire day if you like. We will have PawPaw Shelter rented from 12:00-2:00PM for lunch and fellowship, so bring your cooler and lunch for yourself, if you wish. There are plenty of paved and unpaved walking trails, as well as Kayak, Tube and Bike rentals (or you can bring your own) We will have some group walks in the afternoon, as well as a kayak trip down the river for those who want to participate. Check out the website for Saluda shoals for activities and rental pricing. No charge for parking, just say you are with OA at the gate. Follow the signs in the park for PawPaw shelter. A Seventh Tradition will be taken in person, or by Venmo or Paypal, if you wish to contribute. Take Exit #104, Piney Grove Rd. and turn left. Follow Piney Grove Road to St. Andrews Rd. and turn right onto St. Andrews Rd. Make an immediate left between Wendy’s and Aldi and proceed straight into the Park’s East entrance at 6071 St. Andrews Rd. From Interstate 20- exit at Bush River Road. Turn west on Bush River and continue to the traffic light at St. Andrews Road. Turn left onto St. Andrews Road, then left between Wendy's and Aldi and proceed straight into the Park’s East entrance at 6071 St. Andrews Rd. From Lexington- take North Lake Dr./SC-6 across the Dreher Shoals Dam toward Irmo. Turn right on Bush River Rd. Saluda Shoals Park is approximately 1.5 miles down Bush River Rd on the right. *** We will be having the Saturday 10 am meeting in person there at Saluda Shoals, as well as on zoom***
